Retired Greyhounds as Pets (REGAP KC)

REGAP KC is a fully volunteer operated not-for-profit organization that has been around since 1990 and has placed nearly 5,000 dogs in homes throughout the Kansas City Metro. In 2005, Pooches Paradise became the new home for greyhounds coming out of the racing industry.

Pooches Paradise in Waldo is the physical go between from the track and adoption. Pooches Paradise knows that the quicker we can prepare the greyhounds for adoption, the more greyhounds REGAP KC can rescue. For this reason, our staff will transport, vet, rehabilitate, and provide the tender care these dogs require while in our custody.

We wish to extend many thanks to the volunteers of REGAP KC who dedicate many hours to locate forever homes for these gentle dogs. The greyhounds at Pooches Paradise are not available for public viewing as they are being rehabilitated, however appointments can be made to see the greyhounds through REGAP KC. You can also view the greyhounds by going to http://kcregap.org/adoptables.php.
