Anchored by ridiculously high standards and situated in the heart of some of Kansas City’s most storied and historic neighborhoods, Pooches Paradise has been locally owned and operated since 2005. The beliefs of Pooches Paradise are grounded upon the experiences of its owners.

For dogs that enjoy interactive playtime, our Daycare guests enjoy a safe, stimulating environment designed to improve each dog’s mental well being and physical health. Lodged in a historic, renovated, 100+ year old vintage building, our 20,000 sq. ft. all-inclusive Pet Resort offers the ultimate boarding experience.

At the Pooches Paradise Grooming Salon, our guests experience the relaxation and pampering of a bath, brush and other self-care in a calm and soothing atmosphere.

At Pooches Paradise, our mantra is simple; to send every dog home better off than when they arrived.  Our dog-loving team treats each pup as their own, offering peace of mind knowing your pooch is well cared for while you are away.

Nick and the rest of the staff at Pooches are wonderful. They have gone out of their way to help with training and working on solutions for our very energetic boy, Doc. They truly feel like a partner and our dog’s behavior has really come a long way since he’s started there. They run a great doggie daycare and boarding facility and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Our pup Bennett has been going to Pooches every week since we adopted him in 2020. We have used their daycare, training, boarding and grooming. He is always excited and happy to go play and see his friends. We are comfortable and confident when boarding him knowing people who he loves are caring for him. We knew adopting such an energetic breed we would need some solid training and he (and us!) learned so much from the training sessions. Being able to get his grooming done during daycare days is super convenient! We love the Pooches team and the care and love they give our boy!

Pooches Paradise has everything a dog Mom could want, friendly caring staff who love my dog as much as I do, close to my house, all day play except for nap time. Tiggy always comes home happy and tired so I know he has had a great day. I don’t have to worry about him while he’s in day care or boarding at Pooches Paradise. I’m planning extensive travel in 2025 and I know just where Tiggy will be staying, Pooches Paradise!

What I love about Pooches is how much they know about and love my pup Sammy. Gives me comfort knowing that – she’s not just another dog that goes there. I love getting her occasional ‘report cards’ with detail on her day/behavior too. They just love Sammy and I know they treat every dog this way – that’s their jam. I don’t go anywhere else. It’s about the people. Sammy doesn’t care if one place is newer or bigger. Nothing is better than care and the attention she gets at Pooches.

My pup loves going here! We have moved around the country and have used many daycares. We have found that our pup is always well behaved there, but he is generally shy and maybe a bit timid. That always made us worried because we want him to play, have fun and to be comfortable & happy. Pooches Paradise made us feel extremely comfortable that he was part of the family and that he was at home there. It definitely shows in the way that our dog reacts whenever he realizes he is making a visit to daycare. We have been incredibly happy with Pooches in the last year and a half or so of attending. Our dog loves going to Day Play or ‘Puppy Camp’ in our house. Nick has also been wonderful in helping us come up with training solutions for our dog who struggles with pulling on walks, barking and territory issues. We LOVE Pooches Paradise! Arto absolutely goes ham over this place. He gets so excited to go in the mornings and is so worn out by days end from playing with all his friends.

This is a family owned & operated business and you can tell they really enjoy and love what they do. The staff is friendly, fun, and well educated in all things pooches. Arto is always eager to see them when he gets there.

Stacie, the owner, is an absolute delight to see during drop offs or pick ups. She is very attentive to all pooches and takes pride in her business and services. We have also seen Vega for all our grooming services and dang does Arto come out looking GOOOOOD! There is always great communication by the staff if there is ever a problem or if Arto has been the best boy that day.

I would recommend this place 10x over.

Can’t say enough positive things about this place! Our dog is a rescue that had a rough life before us, she had never participated in daycare or stayed anywhere for boarding in the five years we have owned her because we were nervous about how she would handle it. Stacie and Nick encouraged me to give it a go considering we do have the need for boarding on occasion. They took their time with her and discovered she is great at boarding, but just doesn’t love the daycare part (gets nervous around larger barking dogs). I am ok with that and appreciate the honesty! All the staff is great and know who she is when we walk in the door, that is pretty impressive since we are not there every week. Thank you for all you do for Fable!
